Industrial Bass X Industrial Pop as Moris Blak and Danny Blu join forces to combat the DJs of Asylum 13 and Vortex for one killer night!
Kick off the summer with the concert everyone’s been waiting for! No, we’re not talking about the legacy bands that Ticketmaster rips us all off to go see, we’re talking about the ultimate teamup of teamups, featuring not only a collaboration between the Philly/Delaware region’s two biggest dark alternative events, Asylum 13 and Vortex, but an invasion of some of the best and biggest of the newest generation of talent within the goth/industrial/electronic genre!
Asylum 13 and Vortex, along with Shvdow Records, present MORIS BLAK & DANNY BLU on “The American Dream Tour”. Supporting the team of Blak & Blu are two incredible women led musical powerhouses EVA X and NYXX.
Mike Saga & Gabriel Drax will be your hosts and MCs for the evening, with Asylum 13’s DJ Stygian and Vortex’s DJ Panzermensch battling it out on the turntables between bands and to rock the after party (we probably can’t keep Saga off the decks either).
The show starts at 7pm, but you can show up at 6pm to enjoy happy hour with Bar XIII’s regular drink specials before the party gets started!

Hailing from New York City, Danny Blu is most commonly known as the frontman of nationally touring, glam-pop band, ECHO BLACK. The past few years he’s also been focusing on his solo career, bringing an exciting mix of synth-pop and dance, with a touch of rock, fitting broadly under the label of industrial pop.
He is a pop-obsessed, LGBTQ+ artist, influenced by the goth, industrial, and darkwave movements and most heavily by the alt-rock scene of the late 90s.
