In 2011, Asylum 13 opened its doors for the first time.
Fifteen years later, we’re still here.
Still loud. Still dark. Still weird. Still creating a place for the goths, rivetheads, freaks, kinksters, queers, artists, dancers, and beautiful creatures of the night who have made this community what it is.
On SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17, we’re taking over Bar XIII to celebrate 15 YEARS OF ASYLUM 13, and we’re bringing in something special for the occasion.
SPECIAL LIVE PERFORMANCE BY TRAITRS Toronto’s TRAITRS have become one of the standout names in the modern post-punk and darkwave scene, touring extensively across North America and Europe and sharing stages with artists including VNV Nation, She Past Away, Lebanon Hanover, She Wants Revenge, Chameleons, and Twin Tribes.
Their breakout track “Thin Flesh” has racked up millions of streams and was featured in The Crow, while years of relentless touring have brought their dark, cinematic blend of post-punk, coldwave, and darkwave to audiences around the world.
Now TRAITRS are bringing that sound to Bar XIII as part of their Fall 2026 “POSSESSOR” US Tour for a special live performance celebrating 15 years of Asylum 13.
